Nansi Coe's Texas Chili
1 lb. chili meat ( very course ground venison or beef)
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 sm (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
4 Tbl chili pwd.
32 oz. (4 sauce cans) of water
salt and pepper
- Brown meat in heavy a cooking pot.
- Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
- Add tomato sauce, chili pwd. and water.
- Heat to a hard fast boil and then turn down heat and let simmer 45 min.
